LJE&EC Bagasse spreader ensures the Bagasse spread uniformly over the firing bed of the boiler.
LJE&EC spreaders are aerodynamically designed for better combustion for performance.
Bagasse has a low density with high moisture and volatile content. They are therefore best burnt in suspension
LJE&EC’s spreader ensures a high degree of uniformity of distribution across the furnace plane area.
The spreader tip comes in manual control.
LJE&EC’s pneumatic spreader shall distribute both fibrous and granular fuels.
The spreaders, which bolt onto the front panel of the furnace, are air-cooled.
The fuels are blown over distribution plates which are individually matched to their furnace location.
The “throw” of the fuel into the furnace can be set by adjusting either the angle at which the distribution plates are set or the conveying air pressure.
The spreaders are made of SS 304 except for the deflector plates which, being exposed to direct furnace radiation, are of SS 310.

This soot blower stands up to the most severe environment and can be in the pendant superheater of the boiler, convection section platens, and economizer.
The advanced design venturi nozzles convert high-pressure air or steam into a high-velocity jet which impacts the maximum energy to remove slag deposits.

The oil gun is a parallel tube design with flexible end sections and a removable tip. The tip is selected specifically for each application and varies depending on the gun capacity, type of atomization, and atomization media.
The oil gun utilizes two parallel pipes for oil and steam (air) delivery (or oil return) to the mixing and spray tips.
The flexible stainless steel hoses of the tilting gun provided to accommodate tilt are protected from damage by stainless steel straps on both top and bottom.
The removable union is machined from a solid steel bar.
Firing-rate controls for the four different types of atomization are detailed below:
Wide-Range Mechanical Atomization – Return oil pressure controls the firing rate.
Outside Mix (or Y-Jet) – Atomizing media pressure remains constant. Fuel oil pressure to the gun controls the firing rate.
Inside Mix – Atomizing media pressure is maintained at a constant differential above the fuel oil pressure. Fuel oil pressure to the gun controls the firing rate are for systems that rely on the pressure of the oil for atomization.
LJE & EC’s oil gun retract mechanism provides remote automatic insertion and retraction of oil guns to and from the firing position.
The device consists of a pneumatic cylinder, mounted externally on the wind box on the oil gun guide pipe.
A signal from the burner controls actuates the solenoid to introduce compressed air to the cylinder, which moves the gun forward and keeps it in a firing position.
After the firing is terminated and the scavenging cycle is completed, the gun is retracted to prevent damage to the spray nozzle due to overheating.
Our pneumatically operated mechanism retracts the gun when the associated burner is no longer required for the load.
It is also interchangeable with existing wall-fired oil burners and corner-fired oil burners.

Diffuser/flame stabilizer
The purpose of the diffuser is to impart rotational effect to the primary combustion air zone creating the necessary vortex for flame stability and for mixing the fuel and air required for good combustion.
The diffuser is carefully matched with the register divergent section in order to achieve the optimum performance with least waste of pressure energy .
The bladeshroud prevent the free radial flow in the space between adjacent blades and reduction large turbulent streams. The angle of the air foil shroud reduces separation between the air flow though the diffuser and air flow around it promoting early confluence of the steam line flowing inside and outside the recirculating zone of the air envelope.
The diffuser hub on which the blades are mounted projects forwards and is profiled to suit the atomizer in order to eliminate the reverse eddies which cause fuel deposits and fouling growths on the atomizer and diffuser. This is important in case of wide turndown.
